Official Press Release:

The Town Motors Auto Group is partnering with the Englewood Center for Food Action to help generate donations of food for the needy in Northern New Jersey.

Englewood, NJ - October 29, 2014 -Town Motors Chief Operating Officer, Ted Siebold says the group's three Englewood-based dealerships are acting as drop-off locations for much needed, non-perishable food. They're asking friends, clients and the general public to be as generous as they can be in donating food to help the Center for Food Action help feed the hungry.
According to the Center for Food Action's website, http://cfanj.org/ , their mission is to end hunger and homelessness in Northern New Jersey.  The website says the Center helps local families and individuals who are struggling to keep food on their tables and a roof over their heads by providing emergency food, rental and utility assistance, and advocacy to those in need.

Town Motors has been in business in Englewood since 1946 and actively involved in the community right from the beginning, supporting worthwhile and charitable organizations. Siebold says the Group is always looking for ways to give back to the community, and participating in the Center for Food Action food drive is a cause they are enthusiastic about supporting.

The three Town Motors dealerships, Town Audi at 400 South Dean Street, Town Porsche at 105 Grand Avenue and Town Lincoln Subaru at 135 South Dean Street, have set-up baskets in their showrooms to hold donations.

Siebold says the Center for Food Action is most in need of: Canned foods - especially Meat, Tuna and Chicken, Hearty Soups, Vegetables and Fruit.  Other shelf-stable food they need include: Macaroni & Cheese, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Dry Cereal, Instant Potatoes and Juice.

The Center for Food Action also has an urgent need for Baby Formula, Diapers, Soap and Dental Hygiene Products.
In working with the Center for Food Action, Siebold says the dealerships have learned that hunger and homelessness are not seasonal problems; they just get worse with colder weather and the holidays. He says it is the hope of the Town Motors Auto Group that ?our efforts will move the community to respond and make a difference for those in need.

The Englewood office of the Center for Food Action is located at 192 West Demarest Avenue.
