Capability and Performance

The 2022 Subaru Impreza embodies performance and capability while maintaining safety and efficiency. The Subaru Impreza is the only compact passenger car in America that comes standard with all-wheel drive in every trim level. The 2022 Impreza comes with a 2.0L 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine making 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with the Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). On Premium and higher trim levels, a 7-speed manual drive mode using steering wheel paddle shifters is available. This powertrain achieves 36 MPG highway and can travel 450 miles on a full tank! An all-wheel drive vehicle that gets 36 MPG for a starting price of $18,795 is as good as it gets on the market today!

Design and Technology

The 2022 Subaru Impreza comes in four unique trim levels – Base, Premium, Sport and Limited. There is a new exterior color option available for this mode year called Sapphire Blue Pearl, which can be paired with black or ivory interior. All trim levels of the new Impreza with the Lineartronic CVT come standard with Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, which includes Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure and Sway Warning, Automatic Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management, as well as Lead Vehicle Start Alert.

The base model Impreza comes standard with SUBARU STARLINK® multimedia center controlled on a 6.5-inch touchscreen. This system includes Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, and allows the driver to monitor and control all the vehicle’s infotainment. The top of the line Subaru Impreza Limited includes features like LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, chrome accents, leather seating, automatic climate control, a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, additional safety features, and more! The 2022 Impreza beginning pricing ranges from $18,795 for the sedan with a manual transmission, to $26,395 for the 5-door model with the CVT in the Limited trim level.
