Power and Performance
The Subaru Solterra is the first-ever electric vehicle built on the e-Subaru Global Platform, which brings the smooth, linear power of dual electric motors to Subaru's legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. With 215 horsepower and 8.3 inches of ground clearance, this is a vehicle that can tackle any terrain, on-road or off-road, all with zero emissions. Subaru’s X-MODE gives you even more control and traction in low-friction or off-road situations with selectable drive modes for varying conditions.
The Subaru Solterra will have a 220-mile range, allowing you to hit the road with confidence. In most cases, you should be able to take on your daily day after conveniently charging overnight at home. The Solterra's battery can go from 0 to 80% charge in less than an hour at a Level 3 fast-charging DC station. Should you need a charge-up while you're out, you can find one of 30,000+ available charging stations using the Solterra Connect App.

In the Solterra, bold and rugged styling meets a modern, sleek design befitting the most technologically-advanced of vehicles. Inside this exceptional SUV, 126 cubic feet of passenger and cargo space combined with a nearly flat floor create an open, airy interior. An available glass roof adds to the effect, bringing in more light and a panoramic view. With up to 30 cubic feet of cargo space, a folding seatback, a 2-position load floor, and a 41.3-inch rear gate, you'll be able to haul whatever you need for your next adventure.
Wherever you go, stay connected with the Solterra Connect App. Use your smartphone to engage Remote Start with Climate Control, Smart Navigation, Remote Lock/Unlocking, and Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. With Solterra's 100% emissions-free motors, you can remotely start, cool, and heat your vehicle as you prepare for your trip, even when it's garaged. Once your journey is underway, engage the app hands-free just by saying "Hey Subaru!"
Subaru’s Latest Suite of Safety Features
A Subaru wouldn't be a Subaru without exceptional safety features and Solterra is no exception. The state-of-the-art Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology includes a Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and a Parking Support Brake which engages the brake automatically if there is an object behind you. In addition, Solterra is the first Subaru to offer 360° Surround-View Cameras, always keeping you aware of your surroundings. Standard Safe Exit Assist warns of approaching vehicles as you open the door to exit. A suite of eight driver and front-passenger airbags round out the vehicle's numerous safety features.
