The new WRX comes standard with an improved six-speed manual transmission, updated with optimized gear ratios and refined shift quality. A new Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT) is available on all WRX trim levels. The SPT features adaptive shift control with re-matching downshifts while braking and faster responsiveness when accelerating.
