2023 Subaru Impreza Engine Performance
The performance of the 2023 Subaru Impreza is sporty, efficient, and so well-rounded. Under the 2023 Impreza's hood lies a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine that delivers 152-hp and 145 lb.-ft. of torque. Besides the Base trim that comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, all other trim levels feature the Lineartronic® CVT with a 7-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters for enhanced convenience. This engine and transmission transfers the power to the wheels through Subaru's legendary Symmetrical AWD system. Shoppers will also relish the new Impreza's fuel efficiency. Subaru confirmed that the 2023 Impreza has a fuel-economy rating of up to 36 mpg on the highway, and a range of 450 miles on a full tank, making it one of the most fuel-efficient AWD gasoline cars in the U.S.
Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology
All Impreza models with the Lineartronic CVT come standard with Subaru's award-winning EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology equipped with Lane Departure and Sway Warning, Lane-Keeping Assist, Automatic Pre-Collision, Braking and Throttle Management, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert. The drive assistance and safety features in the Impreza also include Rear Seat Reminder to prevent child or pet entrapment by alerting the driver to check the rear seat before exiting the car.
2023 Subaru Impreza Interior Features
Because we expect a fully redesigned Impreza for the 2023 model year, we'll likely see significant changes in the car's cabin quality. Regardless of which trim level you choose, the Impreza comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard features. The Base and Premium trims boast infotainment systems with the SUBARU STARLINK® 6.5-inch touchscreen displays, but the Sport and Limited trims get larger 8.0-inch infotainment systems. Starting at the Premium trim level, you can expect features like STARLINK Safety and Security features, fog lights, and the All-Weather Package with heated front seats, windshield and exterior mirrors. The 5-door models are equipped with roof rails as standard. There are additional optional packages that include features like a power moonroof, blind spot technology, push button start, and more.
