A Compact SUV That Offers Value

Without delay, let’s get right into it with a breakdown of trim level features and starting price points for each. The Subaru Crosstrek was previously available in four trims – Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited. All-new for the 2023 lineup, there will be an additional Special Edition (SE) trim. Regardless of the trim you buy, you can expect value for your money. For instance, the Base trim – priced at $23,645 - comes with many price-matching features, such as 6-speed manual transmission, SUBARU STARLINK® 6.5-inch infotainment system, power windows, and automatic climate control. By upgrading to the Lineartronic continuous variable transmission (CVT), you get EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, Tire Pressure Monitoring, and X-Mode with Hill Descent Control.

The Premium trim, priced at $24,795, adds STARLINK Concierge Services, an All-Weather Package (heated front seats, exterior mirrors, and windshield), 6-speaker stereo system, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shifter handle, and a retractable cargo cover. Building on the Premium trim, the Sport trim starts at $27,995, and comes with Keyless Access with Press-to-Start function and high-power LED taillights. Its exterior features meticulously crafted wheel arch moldings, gunmetal exterior trims, and 17-inch, Dark-Gray wheels. Exclusive to the Sport trim is the dual-function X-Mode with Hill Descent, which includes SNOW, DIRT, and MUD settings that allow drivers to customize off-road ability under inclement weather and road conditions.

Subaru Crosstrek Infotainment

For the all-new Special Edition (SE) trim, you'll pay $26,745. The model boasts an exterior blend of Desert Khaki paint, a unique black body trim on door handles, badges, grille bar, roof rails, and mirror caps, and 17-inch gray wheels, which it shares with the Sport trim. Its black interior sublimely blends with red stitching and adds a SUBARU STARLINK 8.0-inch infotainment unit.

The flagship Limited trim costs $29,495 and features 18-inch black wheels, an 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus System, Steering Responsive LED, LED fog lights and LED daytime running lights. The interior is a potent blend of black leather and red stitching that extends to the shift lever handle, center console, door armrest, and instrument panel.

Drivetrain Performance

The Base and Premium trims come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Subaru Boxer® engine making 152-hp, which is mated with a standard 6-speed manual transmission. You can upgraded to an optional Lineartronic® CVT (continuous variable transmission) as well. While the Special Edition features a 2.0-liter Boxer engine, the Sport and Limited trims feature a 182-hp, 2.5-liter engine – similar to the 2023 Subaru Outback. The 2.5-liter engines are paired with Lineartronic CVTs. All CVT-equipped models have an 8-speed manual mode with steering wheel paddle shifters.
