Design and Features
The Crosstrek first debuted 12 years ago, and since then it has become the fastest selling vehicle in history for Subaru. The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has received a sleek new design that is sure to turn heads on the road. The new exterior design includes a frameless hexagonal grille, more compact headlights, a more aggressive, broader stance, and black wheel arch and rocker panel cladding. The new Crosstrek comes in nine color options, including a new Plasma Yellow Pearl color that is exclusive to the Crosstrek.
On the interior, redesign elements are also found. The front seat design has been changed to offer more overall comfort and reduced driver fatigue. There was also a focused effort on improving cabin noise. The infotainment center is more prominent and the controls are highly visible. Interior features and equipment will vary from trim level to trim level, however, these upgrades are all standard. For 2024, the Crosstrek will be available in Base, Premium, Sport and Limited trim levels and has a starting price of $24,995* (same MSRP as 2023 Base model equipped with Lineartronic® CVT).
Performance
Subaru is known for delivering impressive performance, and the 2024 Crosstrek is no exception. The latest model is powered by a 2.5-liter direct-injection SUBARU BOXER engine, delivering 182 horsepower and 176 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a Lineartronic® continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an 8-speed manual mode function. For an SUV, the Crosstrek boasts high performance and control, utilizing Subaru's long-standing quality engines and proven track record.
Safety and Technology
The new Crosstrek is loaded with advanced safety and technology features for the utmost comfortability of the driver. EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, Subaru's driver-assist system, comes standard on all trims, providing pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure and sway warning. Additionally, the model has an upgraded version of the SUBARU STARLINK™ Multimedia system, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration, and a rearview camera. The higher trims also come with a 360-degree camera system and a Harman Kardon® sound system.
